Squeaky wheel gets the oil,and results.

Years ago when I had logging contracts I had a handheld like a vise grip chain breaker in Anvil for replacing the master links but you didn't need to use the replaceable Master links that they give you because this tool punched out the rivet to where you can reuse the old rivet the old connector off of the new chain it's just like a vise grip but I sure have not ever seen a new one I believe decades ago I bought it at Baseline machines in San Bernardino they've been out of business forever too

I restored a steel gas tank on a B&S tiller by removing the tank. Then I filled it about 1/2 full of roofing nails, some acetone, taped off the openings, then I shook, and shook, and shook!!. When I was finished the tank was shiney smooth inside.

Why would the outside of the top bearing only be shielded and not sealed, leaving the interior side of the bearing open for grease access?

My Unicorn Mower...a John Deere Commercial JX85. It is a 2002 model purchased from the original owner back in back in 2015 with less than 40 total hours on it. As the former owner of a JD 14SB as well as a JX75 I have a pretty good understanding of these John Deere Push Mowers. I feel they are the absolute pinnacle of push mowers. Bulletproof Kawasaki Motor, Aluminum Decks, and in the case of the JX85 steel wheels with real rubber tread and a 6hp Kawasaki Motor with an Oil Filter. I will take this 22 year old Mower to my Grave and beyond as my two Sons will probably still be using it long after I'm gone. It's just sad what is currently being offered out there.

Just to be pedantic - it's not obvious to me that the "black, contaminated oil" isn't fit for purpose, which is lubricate the engine just enough that it doesn't seize. You said they all have black oil, but how many of them have seized?

in addition to risking the ire of the 'EPA' (huh?) removing the spark arrestor screen from a weed eater does raise the chance of a grassfire. No joke when it is windy and hot in mid-summer here in KY

A $120 mistake??? I just replaced the ignition coil, fuel line, air filter and fuel filter in my Stihl saw. It was all in a kit for $30.

I would beg to differ that the number one reason a brand new chain or freshly sharpened chain is not cutting is because the user has put it on backwards 😅 Have witnessed this when out bush camping and seeing people struggling to cut firewood around their camp.

Yep, biggest problem I have found is bowl and jets full of goo from leaving the fuel valve open during storage with a full tank of gasoline. Alcohol gasoline, worst fuel in the world for these units.

Hello young lady. Ordered a new carb and just replaced it for failure to reach high rpm. Got the new carb in and it did not fix it. Went looking on RUclips and found you. Pulled the little diverter, it was dirty. Cleaned it and full RPM now. Thank you for making my day!!!

If it's not charging right it could be stater or. Voltage relator or by connection some times it can be in the wiring just below key switch.
